Scary Night
O, Halloween, night of fright,
I tremble in the moon's pale light,
As goblins, ghouls and monsters prowl,
While werewolves in the shadows howl.
Shall I don my scary guise,
and walk among their watchful eyes,
With a trick or treater's bag in tow,
To a haunted house shall I go?
And what will I receive,
once there,
While poised upon the creaking stair,
But rolling eyes served on sticks,
Like lollipops, what evil tricks!

And so, perhaps, I'll just
stay home
And lock the doors and windows
tight,
And if I find I'm not alone,
I'll run, and run with all my
might!
